How did you change the word default to show next to MEDIUM 125% rather than SMALLER 100 %??

Something else to consider also is that a lot of hard drives are mass formatted at the factory which will include various programs/tweaks to cover several models of computers and there will be files/settings that will not be on the restoration disk. You may have to find a balance in the settings and to get to the desktop settings you have to go to Personalization Window, choose color, and click the Advanced appearance settings to change individual colors, sizes, etc.

Sorry to say but I cant think of any other option to increase screen size. If you can post a few screenshots of your Desktop, screen resolution settings window and Desktop Personalization window, it might help a bit to better understand your problem.

Finally i have found the way to change default DPI. It's almost the same way just Vishal Gupta said. whatever, it didn't help me a lot though my log-in screen has been changed, but still my yahoo messenger, skype contact list and also message box of some the other programs are still very small. i don't know how to fix them.

^^ Dont worry. If you change something and dont like the change like the icon size, you can apply default Aero theme any time and it'll restore everything to default.

Regarding increasing screen size as I recently asked did you try to decrease screen resolution size? You can change it using Screen resolution option from Desktop right-click menu.

I did try to change the screen size before already. it makes the font bit blurry, so i don't want that. thanks for keep helping me Vishal. do you know how can i change log in font size?

^^ It should be 32.

thnaks mate...got it. you see..i am really novice, so if there is no default setting option i shouldn't change anything here. otherwise i will be ended up reinstalling the whole system which will take me oneday. by the way, is there any tweak to increase the log in screen? it's awfully small. if i can change this, then i will add up some add-ons for mozilla to make the font size bigger.

If you have already set DPI to 125% and the font size is already set to 11 in your system and still you find the fonts smaller compared to what you got in your new system, then the one last thing I can assume is screen resolution size. It might be possible that when you got your system, the screen resolution was set to different pixel size compared to current. You can try to decrease screen resolution as well.
