Format and reinstall.. thats the best option if ur pc is infected by a virus.. PC Viruses these days are as deadly as those of Rabies and aids. Then make a backup copy for future using a third party solution. A new installation usually takes 30 mins while a backup with all drivers loaded takes 3-4 minutes to restore a fresh system.
And in case ur fresh installation crashes, its a hardware problem.
