Accidentally my ass. There are several levels of bureaucracy to go through before anything gets posted on the webpage.

It's a shame Netscape couldn't survive. The only good decision Netscape took was to release the source code of Netscape Communicator to the public. This is how the Mozilla Organization was born.

So you mean their death was good? :o

Not only that Netscape and Microsoft were partners in crime when it came to bastardizing web standards.

Yanike you do realize that almost every major news website uses 3rd party publishing platforms right?

You should be attacking poor implementation of the software not the software itself.

Engadget, CNN, CNET, etc all use publishing platforms not developed in house.

Corporations don't have to abide by the US constitution in manners of free speech. Google can pick and choose to delete what it wants while giving a giant fuck you to anyone who complains about it.

...and this is exactly what sucks.

Not really.

Free speech means that they can't implement any spam blocking mechanisms or the like as well. Since it infringes on free speech.

Must be a sad life to live so paranoid.

No offense, but your view is INSANE. My view. It is observation of the facts. And it is a LITERAL possibility that the scenario I gave regarding my sister, COULD happen.

My sister has breakup with bf online and does bunch of searches for broken heart bla bla, whatever. and goog patterns this and begins putting "singles getaway vacation" ads on search pages and she sees one and she decides to go. And on the way there, the plane crashes and she dies. Now, if she didnt notice that ad there, she may or may not have gone on that exact trip, on that exact day. But because google patterned her and manipulated her, she "did". THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE THAT POWER.

What, EXACTLY, is "paranoid" about it? It is POSSIBLE and that, alone, shows that there is something wrong with the tracking. because it is manipulation that could result in an infinite number of negative occurrences.

You know I could see an ad on TV for Taco Bell and be compelled to go. I may get shot in the head over the wallet in my pocket, but that's life and death. Doesn't mean I should live my life looking over my shoulder.
