Command prompt gives me I/O error as well. Same goes for the Linux terminal. Assuming File Shredder is the same concept as Eraser, I don't think it'll have much luck either. It's a pretty low-level problem. I'll try chkdsk or something similar...Have you tried shredding it? Try file shredder, google for it.
If that doesn't work, try deleting the folder in command prompt.

Just because it's optimized for use with Linux distros doesn't mean that it can't cooperate with other OSes too. People have used it to install Windows XP, Vista, and 7 release candidates, but I can't find information on installing Windows 7 RTM using it.

Oh wow... when did they first announce this? I looked at it a few months ago and then forgot about it. Definitely going to give this a try once I've got Windows 7 running.

The interface is really what bothers me. Whenever I try to alt-tab to a specific image, it puts a completely different image on top, and that image doesn't even have focus. I have to actually tab to another image in order to get to the one I want.

This looks quite nice. I'm going to miss the old one (I'm quite nostalgic about these things), but I'm sure I'll learn to love this one too.
