It is good to motivate your preference, but you will not be able to convince others as it is a matter of (personal) taste.

I think windows 8 is like Vista: in the sense that its a necessary evil, a stepping stone to build on in the future. MS has disappointed lots of users, but windows 8 is nonetheless a bold move, a vision and that is something MS has lacked for a lot of years. 

If they are putting it under the parental control settings then it's good. Otherwise, this is the worst patent I've ever seen.

Agreed. Maybe also useful in business environments.But AV companies should really stick to there core business and let people make there own choices.
