I go back to these 2 issues of X-Force & Spider-Man just to look at the imagery seen in these pictures I just scanned this morning, so you can see what I've been seeing for years.

The first scan is from X-Force #3, Oct. 1991 (Released Sep. 1991, exactly 10 years earlier.)
The last 2 are from Spider-Man #16, Nov. 1991 (Continuation of story from XF #3.)

Buildings get blown up all the time in comics. Sometimes whole planets blow up. Those are some eerie images, though

Yeah. My point is that the the images look eerily similar to the actual pictures.

The thing you all are failing to realize, is that the images there, are of of the World Trade Center. Read the pages.

marvel places it's heros in the real world (unlike DC), and the WTC has allways been a "good plot element" for any disaster story, and Marvel has to have a good disaster for a good story.

In the original spiderman movie trailer, a helicopter flys between the WTC, full of bandits, , and spidy ensnares them in a web between the WTC, that was one of the first teaser trailers i believe.

that whole trailer and scene was axed due to 9/11.

i wonder if someone can find that original trailer online?

I still think they should've at least put it as a special feature on the DVD.

I agree. The title was not meant to be taken seriously.
