Haha, yeah.
I'm using Comodo at the moment.
I got it a while ago.

I'm probably about to start using Jetico.

i've been using norton for quite some time now and my computer is by no means "slow". but if i got rid of norton would it really make a difference?

not at all taking side with norton saying it doesn't slow it down at all. just a simple question.

I have both ZoneAlarm and Comodo

That isn't really a good idea to have more than 1 firewall, they can sometimes knock each other out leaving you open to everything

I agree with lareeth. You should even disable Windows built in firewall if you are using any other firewall program.

Btw, here's a good thread for Vista users.

Or Digsby. They're cleaning up the app a LOT.

Wow, that program looks great! AND it's cross-platform. I'm definitely try this out! :woot:

Edit: Oh... it's not for Linux or Mac yet... oh well. I'll try it out when it's done.

v. cool
but an important question, where can I get a similar list for more programs, please?

Also what does it mean by "slow down"?

is it slowing down the computer on start-up?

is it slowing down the computer on run-time?

or is it just slowing down the computer just because its there? -which most likely won`t be a real slow down.

The graph seriously needs an update or just close this thread. It's Norton 2006 your'll talking about, the worst edition symantec ever released. 3 years down, in newer editions such as 2009, it should be down all the way to negligible.
