I have heard many good things about many different Spyware Software, so I figured I'd ask as I'm sure most people might have the same question as me. So let's get to the bottom of this and figure out just exactly WHICH one is the overall best! I prefer Spyware Doctor!

Dammit! I do apologize as I forgot to add other... or none... :woot: my bad

Wow are you kidding me? I had windows defender and it was by far THE worst out of all of them, didn't find anything, the one i have now finds a lot and never causes problems.

I just really like Spyware Doctor as it blocks Ad-ware, Spyware, Cookies, and malicious activeX. As well as others.

I used Enigma Software Group's Spy Hunter. For me, it worked great and had no problems whatsoever.

I voted for Ad-aware since it blocks also the tracking cookies and it protects the startup programs. I also use the Microsoft AntiSpyware (Beta 1).

XoftSpy is also quite good spyware catcher, very fast and easy-to-use.

I used to use Lavasoft Ad-Aware but I switched to Windows Defender formerly known as Microsoft AntiSpyware and I'm glad I did.

Norton and Zone-Labs real time spyware protection is not up to the mark (N)

Spyware Doctor and SpySweeper are the best BY FAR.
Problem is, you have to pay for them.
