I am using this program and all the icons created look blurry. Is this normal?
Is there a more accurate converter to convert png to ico, or do all of them suffer from this problem. Or am I the only one?

When I use AveIconifier 2, they all seem fine to me....

Maybe delete and re-download it.

Ok, I found what the problem is. Not the solution. The problem is that it turns grey shadows into black. And it makes it look bad. I have got icondeveloper as well. Does the same thing. In the preview it looks good. When I turn it into an ico it makes everything grey into black.

Also, icons that look good, when I open them with windows picture and fax viewer they have the same problem. Grey shadows look black. Although when I use them as icons in extensions and folders they look good. They also look good in tiles preview but have this problem in thumbnail preview.

Grey shadows look black.

This is normal. Windows can't display the icons properly in the thumbnail view :)
