I have been using IrfanView for the last many years. It's free, light waight, stable and supports all of the image formats commonly used. What do you prefer? :D

I have used ACDSee and IrfanView but when you zoom, blocks are formed on the image. There is no such problem in Windows XP's defaut image viewer that's why I left using any other image viewer.

If the matter is regarding zooming then Compupic is the best. It keeps the image clearer while zooming.

There was a time when ACDsee was the best but now it is not so. I use Windows XP inbuilt picture viewer to view wallpapers, pictures and PNG :D

Compupic and ACDSee are fine but both are paid apps.
I like IrfanView better because it a freeware and lots of PlugIns and AddOns are available for it.
For other freewares I suggest FastStone Image Viewer and XnView.
