Hey everyone,

i need some help with my mouse, it like some dodgy acer mouse but recently i have been expieriencing...difficulties.

you know that sound that mindows xp makes when you eject hardware and in sert it, the double chime?
well my computer is constantly making this sound and whenever it does the mouse frezzes in place for about 3 seconds, this happens every 5-10 minutes, there are no viruses or spyware!!

so if you could give me any help it would be much appreciated, thanx..

it sounds like a virus to me...but since you say there aren't any...I would reinstall the drivers for that mouse...

Is it a USB mouse? Check your USB port and make sure it is connected well.

well, the mouse is, for some wierd and messed up reason, beg=having itself...FOR THE MOMENT.

the thing is this mouse is pretty much brand new so it shouldn't be stuffing up. if it does it again, i'll just get a new one...

thanx newayz guys... (Y)

there are no viruses or spyware!

How can you be sure?
Anti-Virus and spyware software arn't 100% accurate!

does the mouse have the "Designed for Windows XP" logo on the package? If it doesn't, it's drivers could be causing the problem and you should unistall them (my mouse works well without the drivers - although it's designed for xp, but i don't like the software that comes with the mouse)... If you still get the problem, you can try and get a new mouse, i doubt your windows installation is the problem...
