Can StyleXP and WindowBlinds coexist without conflicts?

There's no problem. Just unload WB before using StyleXP.

Right on. Thanks for the reply, man. Is there a thread to post random questions like that one? Because there are a couple of really simple things I'd like to ask but I'm not sure of starting a new thread for them.

I have a question about AveDesk. I'm using it on Vista Home Premium and the desklets are definitely loading, but they're invisible (I can click on them, they block my desktop icons ). Alpha is set to 255 and I've tried changing it. Any ideas?

FIRST POST!!! (I'm hoping to stick around for awhile)

Welcome to WM Gforce20. Double click on the .bat file in the AveDesk folder.

TO EVERYBODY:
I mentioned this problem earlier in a separate thread but haven't managed to get the problem right. Here's what happened:
I accidentally clicked on the UX Theme patcher icon to have a window come up asking me whether I wanted to unpatch, I clicked quit but the theme reverted to Windows Classic anyway. I tried to re-patch but each time it asked me "Do You want to revert to your original .dll files?", after several attempts, I give up. Here's a screenshot of the problem, please try and help! :(

Minga repair Windows installation with your Windows XP DVD and then apply the patch again.

Hey man
Thanks RickSOLET for your advice, but are there alternative solutions, say I don't want to go through the trouble of re-installation?

looks like your themes service is disabled possibly? go to control panel -> administrative tools -> services and see if "Themes" is running. if not, right click on it and select properties and start the service, then set the startup type to "Automatic".

Do you have to be an computer administrator to use UXTheme Multi-Patcher 4.0?

Because when I open the zipped file, run it, and start patching, it tells me that it cannot be opened and to check if my disk is full and that I have access to the destination directory, and that access is denied.

Could this be because I am not a computer administrator or what should I do?

Yes you cannot be on a Limited Account. You have to be an Admin to use the patch.

I see, well thats the problem.
I can't be a computer administator (parents' decision)
Is there any way to become an admin without going onto an admin account and changing my settings?
Like a website that allows you to change that setting to an admin account?

Alrite, so if I am changed to an admin, can I patch my computer using uxtheme multi patcher and then change back to a limited account?

or do I have to remain an admin to allow more themes and use different themes?

First I had the Black Zune theme.
Then I patched my system using the UXTheme Multi-Patcher, but none of the themes worked.
Now I can't change back to the zune desktop theme.
Is there any way I can unpatch my system so the zune theme will work again?

Or any ideas on why the themes arent showing up when I go to control panel?
