i hav installed a bad boot screen and now i cannot load my computer properly (i can still access setup and choices like safe mode) - i want 2 access DOS so i can delete it, pls help

Use the windows xp CD, boot from the CD and then choose repair the installation. This will give you access to a DOS command type prompt to fix windows.
