Mozilla released a new version of its Firefox browser today for desktop (Windows, Mac and Linux) and mobile (Android) platforms. On desktop, the most notable change is a search field that has been added to the New Tab Page. Firefox can also handle Ogg and Pdf files by default if no application is specified on Windows.

In the Android version, the existing Panels on the browser's home screen can now be reordered. Mozilla has also implemented a Firefox Hub API for the add-on developers. They can display their content Firefox for Android homepage

My one of my favorite browsers keeps getting better :)

I Mozilla's Firefox UI more than Chrome. For some reason I just get turned off when looking at Chrome. Weird I know, but I just do. Also, Chrome's font rendering on Windows is still crap.

Firefox is still my go to browser :)

Why not merging address bar into search box? What's the purpose of a separate search box?
