Mozilla has released Firefox 28.0 FINAL for desktop. Plug-in-free media playback support is the keystone of Firefox 28 for desktops and Android. Support for VP9 decoding and Opus support in WebM  power media playback in HTML5. It's another nail in the coffin for Flash. Firefox 28 for desktops also gets a new volume control for HTML5 audio and video. The GamePad API has been finalized and is now enabled by default.

Mozilla decided to pull the Metro mode at the last moment because only 1,000 users per day were using the Metro mode.

Would be nice if MS changed the way Metro handles browsers. Why does it have to be the default if you use another browser in metro?!?
