Office Web Apps, the online, free version of Microsoft Office has got some useful new features. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel web apps have been updated with the ability to support co-authoring similar to Google Docs'. Documents can now be edited in real-time with friends, family, and colleagues. To make real-time collaboration simpler, now your peers' cursor location in the document is marked with small indicators so you can always see where others are working in the document.

Now it's also easy to insert a header and footer and add page numbers to your document and awesome-looking tables. Find and replace has also been added to save your time.

Finally, Office has got the one feature that I used Google Docs for. One more Google service I can let go of!
