A very simple but intuitive UI concept of Windows 9 where the desktop mode and Start Screen tiles work together.

Btw, you can already use Metro live tiles on your desktop (Windows 7 and Windows 8) with Omnimo 6.0.

I do like it, kind of.  The "Tiles" look like a modification of the Vista Desktop Widgets.  However, Desktop Icons need to go away.  But that is just me, i hate them, it ruins the serenity of having a dual-screen wallpaper for me.  Too distracting.

I do like the tiles as gadgets.  I miss the uptime and current time gadgets the most.  I like me a clean desktop to look at.  Although I dont see it much, across 3 monitors, Ive got every inch of the screen covered by something.  When it all gets minimized, it sure is a nice treat to see my wallpapers in their "de-iconized" glory

Stardock's fences program let you with double clik to hide all icons. Very good stuff.

The way of UI Design is not impression for Windows User if Windows 9 out to real and Dev version and ui same that pic.

I think ui of windows 8 is ok now on Windows technology.

Don't out this same concept it bad. I hope that.

I hate desktop icons too. As a matter of fact my Windows 8 desktop is icon free!

Totally dislikes the whole Windows look since the beginning LOL ... always using the Ubuntu theme with Delta icon pack.
