Yeah your hard disk has bad sectors. Sometimes it happens due to other magnetisation intefering with the disk's write and read operations, or the disk head being dislocated while writing to the disk. Bad sectors can spread over time. Salvage all of your data while you can and do a CHKDSK repair - CHKDSK will isolate and write out the bad sectors of your disk and then you can create a partition on the disk that avoids the bad sectors (yes, that would require a reformat). If CHKDSK doesn't help, then your hard disk is beyond repair and needs to replaced.
