If you don't have Microsoft Office installed in your PC and want to open some Office files, Google has got you covered.

Chrome Office Viewer (beta) is a speedy way to view Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files in your browser with a single click. Clicking an Office file on the web will open it directly in Chrome – identical to Chrome’s PDF Viewer.

Formats supported:
.doc
.docx
.xls
.xlsx
.ppt
.pptx
