Chrome and Opera to ditch WebKit engine for Blink

Google is ditching WebKit engine for Chrome. Chromium team has posted on it's blog that they use a different multi-process architecture than other WebKit-based browsers, and supporting multiple architectures over the years has led to increasing complexity for both the WebKit and Chromium projects. This has slowed down the collective pace of innovation - so they are introducing Blink, a new open source rendering engine based on WebKit.

Opera also confirmed that it will follow Google and ditch WebKit. :(

If Blink is based on WebKit so it's not a bad news I guess.

I'll appreciate Google Chrome more when it no longer has choppy sound (using a light version of linux).
