You can expect to see the Windows 9 Beta out in January 2014 and the final version hitting the shelves in November 2014, according to Win8China, the guys who put many rumors out there, and are usually right on the mark. If you are one of those Windows 7 users who decided to skip Windows 8 completely and wait for the next version, you may have a date to shoot for now.

I think now only reason for releasing it sooner is to make  WIndows phone 9  and Windows 9 RT

I think that reason is to make Windows more polish. For now it looks like unfinished product for me.

I bet Windows 9 will come with it's own Siri. It would only be sensible if they went that route with the Operating System.

If MS wants the same rotation as Apple they better come up with some new features or apps and I do not mean patches. Otherwise it is just a money making scheme. An annual rotation makes sense for the consumer products, but is not something businesses are waiting for.

Than we have windows blue... again no idea what that will bring. Time for MS to spread some facts and less hype.

Hope MS will improve/polish the desktop experience on non touch devices.
