Microsoft has released security update KB2809289 for Internet Explorer which resolves eight privately reported vulnerabilities and one publicly disclosed vulnerability.

The most severe vulnerabilities could allow remote code execution if a user views a specially crafted Web page using Internet Explorer. An attacker who successfully exploited these vulnerabilities could gain the same user rights as the current user. Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer user rights on the system could be less impacted than users who operate with administrative user rights.

This security update is rated Critical for all the versions of Internet Explorer, including IE9 and IE10.

If you have automatic updating enabled and will not need to take any action because this security update will be downloaded and installed automatically. You can manually download the update from below give link.

Good share!

Even IE6 users in Windows XP are also getting this update. You can imagine how important this update is.
