Windows 8 and Windows RT based Microsoft Surface tablets are one of the least desired tablets, alongside Google Nexus 7, Acer, Asus and Motorola's tablets. The data came from a study conducted by research firm Yankee Group. They surveyed 506 consumers who planned to purchase a new tablet.

Apple iPad continues to rule the tablet market with 47 percent of the votes, followed by Amazon with its Kindle devices and Samsung with its Android based tablets.

It's not as if the other tablets are more desired, even Samsung and Amazon is less than half of the iPad. Not even close. Why go only after Microsoft? I've said this many times before, and that is Android (Google) and their OEMs (Samsung, etc) has failed to deliver on tablets as well.
