Bluestacks releases its free Android Emulator for Windows 8. The Surface Pro optimized version of Bluestacks App Player brings 750,000 mobile apps to Windows 8, including those apps which you may never see in Windows 8 Store.

This version features the full-screen mode, a new Charms-like menu that appears using the same edge swipe, and support for Surface Pro's rotation and orientation capabilities.

The company also has made a new website GetYourAppsBack.com for those who have switched from Android tablet to Surface Pro and, are missing their old apps.

Download Bluestacks for Windows 8, and enjoy the new promo video made for Windows 8 users.

The previous version could also be used in Windows 8. But support for charms and edge swipe are new.
