A lot of unannounced games has been spotted in Steam registry, including PC versions of Halo 3, Halo 2, Second Life, Cut the Rope, Resident Evil: Revelations, Dyad and Fez.

The big surprise is Halo 3 here which was never developed for PC and was an Xbox 360 exclusive. If you think it's a hoax, this is the tool which people use to peek into Steam's database and Halo 3 has been listed as ValveTestApp216800.

The list of unannounced games:

  • La-Mulana
  • The Splatters
  • Octodad: Dadliest Catch Beta
  • Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition (Duke Nukem 3D+)
  • Super House of Dead Ninjas
  • Fez
  • LucasArts Test App
  • Fast and Furious 6
  • Lococycle
  • Yogventures!
  • Hardware
  • Hardware (Demo)

  • Shadow Warrior Complete
  • Hardware (VIP)
  • Hardware (Internal)

  • Retro/Grade
  • Resident Evil: Revelations
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’98 ULTIMATE MATCH

They need to put the Gears of War Series on the list.

So my question is how accurate this tool is at predicting games in the past. Has it worked for other games before?

If not, I'm taking this news with an ocean full of salt. (not saying I don't really want it though)

Yes, the tool has predicted a lot of releases in the past. People use this tool to predict Steam sales and indie game bundles.

It's great that Halo 3 is coming to Steam but I won't be buying it if "Games for Windows LIVE client" would be integrated in it.

HOMAIGAWD HALO ON PC!!!!

It's great that Halo 3 is coming to Steam but I won't be buying it if "Games for Windows LIVE client" would be integrated in it.

I'm pretty sure that GFWL is dead already. I believe that the replacement for GFWL would be Xbox Live in Windows 8. For gaming and entertainment on Windows, it's going to be Xbox-branded all the way from now. The Windows Live brand is dead (it should have never been brought to life in the first place).

Whats happened to the PC port of Red Dead Redemption?

THIS I WANT TO KNOW AS WELL.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Microsoft said to Kotaku that Halo isn't coming to Steam.
