First public beta of avast! 8 antivirus is now available for download. The new version comes with a new user interface and more options than ever before!

Other than the new GUI here are the noticeable changes:

- Software Updater checks your installed applications and alerts you to any available updates.
- There is also a Browser Cleanup tool; it's a standalone utility for getting rid of invasive toolbars.
- FileRep and WebRep are there to help keep identify new threats in near real-time.
- Streaming Updates make sure you have the lastes virus definitions.

Download avast! 8 free!

Note: Windows 8 is not compatible right now. It's compatible now! :)

Update: Beta 3 released. Scroll down for the screenshots.

Yeah, like what Preath said, the previous UI was cool. This isn't too bad, it looks like it was designed for touch.

I rather like it's UI more now.
More simplicity if I would like to add!! :D

Though other's opinion differ.
