As expected, Microsoft Office 2013 is now on sale from today. There are four suite SKUs (editions) of Office 2013, which can be bought from Microsoft Store website and, are listed below.
  • Office Home and Student 2013 - $139.99
  • Office Home and Business 2013 - $219.99
  • Office Probational 2013 - $399.99
  • Office 365 Home Premium - $99.99 per year
Three of the editions are single PC licenses, for which you will have to pay only once. Office 365 on the other hand is a subscription based service. It comes with all the productive tools included in Office 2013 like Word, Excell, Powerpoint, Onenote etc and allows you to install them in up to five PCs.

My friend got a Home Use Program code from somewhere and bought Office 2013 for $10. He said the code worked with Hotmail address only. Does anyone here know about this? I'm also looking for a code.

If you are a student, look for Office 2013 $11 (from Microsoft Hub). Amazing price and I got all the MS products including MS Access.

To use Home Use you need a program code and an email belonging to that company.

The terms of this program require that you have a valid e-mail address with a participating company.

AND

You need a program code from your employer to be eligible.

I know but he used his Hotmail address instead of a participating company...
