With the release of ThinkPad X131e Chromebook, Lenovo has become the third OEM which jumped into Chrome OS.

The 11.6-inch Chromebook has an “Intel processor,” along with an anti-glare LED screen, USB and HDMI ports. It weighs “under four pounds.” The $429 ThinkPad X131e isn’t being sold directly to consumers, but will be sold at volume pricing to K-12 education institutions. It will be available Feb. 26.

Am I missing the reason why it costs so much for the poor specs?

Samsung Series 5 Chromebooks' price was $99 in the holiday season. $429 is too costly!

Low spec laptops running a (somewhat) useless operating system. Why soo expensive?
