Nvidia and Razer announced their handheld gaming systems at CES. Both of them looks amazing but which one you will be buying this year?

Razer Edge is the "most powerful tablet in the world". The Edge will come with Intel i5 or i7 processors, discrete graphics via an Nvidia GT640 LE GPU, 64GB to 256 GB of SSD and up to 8GB of RAM. At 0.8-inches thick and weighing only 2 pounds, the Edge only makes modest gains over the iPad and Microsoft Surface in terms of size.

Nvidia Project Shield uses the new Tegra 4 processor and is packed within a controller with a flip-up screen. It features an HDMI port for video output, micro-USB for accessories and docks, and a microSD port for expandable storage. While the exact specs are still forthcoming, Project Shield has a 5-inch 720p HD display. The handheld can run Android games provides remote access to the games installed on your gaming PC at home, including Steam titles.

Remember, Razer Edge is a Windows based tablet which runs games on the tablet where as Nvidia Project Shield an Android Jelly Bean based tablet which streams games running on your PC.

Nvidia Shield, easy. The Razer's Edge will be harder to play in bed.

Nvidia Project Shield for me. Razer Edge doesn't look like an ergonomically comfortable handheld for gaming.
