Microsoft's Windows XP is still surprisingly popular, despite Microsoft's numerous attempts to kill the 11-year old operating system. Windows XP is still the second most popular OS worldwide with 39.80 percent of market share. Windows 7 has 44.71 percent and remains at the number one operating system according to data provides by Net Applications

There are still about 500 days left when Microsoft will stop providing support for Windows XP. Windows 8 adoption rate is so slow that Windows XP will probably remain the second most popular OS in 2013 too. What do you think?
