The new Windows 8 ad urges developers to submit their apps on Windows Store. According to Microsoft, over the last 2 years, more Windows licenses have been sold than Android, iOS and Mac combined.
Microsoft will officially release Windows 8 on October 25.

Windows 8 is not ready 
Lots of metro apps are lacking polish.
The Store metro app is very limited as app, but also lacking good apps.
More a beta. Hope will MS will put all its effort in development of quick updates and not have us waiting 3 years!

it looks like the ad is targeted at developers...not a bad ad I guess. The release preview video is still waaay better:

Wow! That is a beautiful Tablet OS. Can't wait to see their Desktop one
Click on Desktop. You don't have to use Metro, hasn't this been said like a million times? Isn't it good to have the choice?
That's what I don't understand about the Metro hate.
