There's no way XP can still be that high. Factor out China, and then what happens?

A lot of enterprises are probably still on XP; I us Windows 7 at home but still have to use XP at work.

Exactly, most companies/corporations still use XP. 2 out of 3 companies that I worked for in my coop terms still use XP. Windows 7 is still relatively new corporation wise and being experimented and slowly introduced where most of the company would use XP, and only a few people will be using Windows 7.

That makes no sense considering there's XP Mode for 7.

VirtualBox with XP is a lot lighter and faster than XP Mode... Been using it @ work ;)
Our company still uses XP for their (old) apps for business dont work very well on Windows 7.

the funny thing was, IT personnel uses XP Mode, but after I introduce them VirtualBox and they saw how it performs, they all now switch to VirtualBox :D

Let's anticipate the rank of Windows 8 by the end of 2013.

Which model it will inherit? Seven or Vista?

You're off-topic, but I think Windows 8 will probably rank somewhere in between :D
