Microsoft details touch editing in Office Web Apps on Windows 8 and iOS Tablets in the latest post of the official Office Web Apps blog today. In designing the Office Web Apps for touch, the Office team set out to achieve the following goals:

Does anyone know if or not it's a case of Chrome and Firefox not supporting touch in their browsers?
