If there an app for desktop, one which could help forum users receive something of live feedback on new replies and show somewhere in a little corner on desktop

Hmm, LIVE feedback i dont know, but you could use a mail client or something else that checks for your mail often and also set up on your profile that you want mail upon replies and such, thats something.

Click on the Subscribe Topic button and choose the Immediate Notification option then use a mail client or browser add-on for the notifications.

Thanks. I've found one, its brilliant at what it does, but kinda limited by some sites.
Works only with rss.

Twitter has a timeline, and with some help, it becomes rss... an app can get this feed and post it near the clock&date.
