Windows 8 RTM will be build 9200, following a bug that prevents the company from using the
build 8888, as reported previously. Reports of the final Release to Manufacturing (RTM) build
9200.16384.WIN8_RTM.120725-1247 surfaced over at
Win8China, who also leaked a copy of the final lock screen image to accompany the
default wallpaper.
The compile process of the RTM build started on Wednesday — outputting SKU, language, and install variations. Microsoft is expected to officially declare Windows 8 RTM next week.
