Mozilla just released Thunderbird 15 beta with the new user interface called Australis, which will also be used in Firefox.

It looks beautiful, doesn't it? :D

Revamped user interface aside, there are two notable new features. The unified global search now covers the chat module – which supports Facebook, Twitter and Google Talk among others – while the "Do not track" option introduced in Firefox has been added to Thunderbird too. This option – accessible from the Web Content tab in the Security section of Thunderbird’s Options screen – is of less relevance to email users, but may stop some emails from tracking the user, but only if they’ve signed up for the voluntary code of practice.

Thats a shame, they should end it. really, i only know 1 person that uses a email client. and thats my mom. lets face it, email clients = dead. if your retrieving emails from online, you might as well actually go online.

I'd rather use a client as well.

Client Steps:
1. Clicking Application
2. Reading your mail
3. Checking other mail. Click on a different inbox.

Online Client Steps:
1. Opening Browser
2. Typing in URL or clicking shortcut
3. Entering your login credentials
4. Reading your mail
5. Checking other mail. Opening a new tab and repeating steps 2-4.

I chose the client hands-down!
