Windows 8 RTM build goes 8500 to 8506

Windows 8 RTM won't land as build 8500, something that many believed would happen. WinUnleaked reports that Windows 8 RTM builds will reach 8506, although there will be RTM Escrow 8500 builds as well. The list of RTM builds that WinUnleaked has managed to grab shows numbers running from 8436.0.winmain_win8rtm.120618-2000 (RTM Escrow) and going all the way up to 8506.0.winmain_win8rtm.120630-1900 (RTM Candidate).
At the moment, Microsoft is working on the pre-release to manufacturing flavor of Windows 8, which will feature builds ranging from 8411 to 8440.

I strongly hope that there will be some changes in those versions. Why does the Metro UI not have the same shortkeys as the desktop? I can't even use F5 on the mail client. Kinda stupid if you ask me ._.
p.s. it's probably because tablets don't have F5. Not many people use F5 in Mail anyway. Function keys need to die, i'd rather have my brightness, volume, and music playback controls override my function keys.
anyway, i'm not sure exactly how many people actually care about build numbers...

People who are following Windows 8 development care about build numbers.

Eh, not really. It gets done when it gets done. But I guess the numbers show how much work has been done since the RP has been released.
