The 2D Metro-style Windows flag will feature on both Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, is closest in appearance to Microsoft's original Windows logo introduces in 1985. Both eschew gradients and other colors for a flat and neutral blue appearance.
I'm not surprised, you love every single shit microsoft creates. You are one really die-hard fan, incapable of having your own opinion, different than microsoft's one on every single topic. Anyway, that your problem, not ours.

Dude, its like apple fans simply LOVE everything apple does, even if it is shit, and are willing to pay for it, but that's their problem, not ours.
Btw... the trends in design are going that direction, SIMPLE... and I like this thread, never got to actually see the windows 1.0 logo

Please do me a favor and quit replaying to my posts if that's all you're going to be saying. Thanks.
I like neither. I'm still loyal to the old school:
i've always liked longhorn. It was such an awesome concept. Really sad that Microsoft screwed it up (the result of which was Vista) else they wouldn't have to make such big bets like Windows 8.
That Aero glass Windows flag is awesome.
Ah well, in terms of design, the next best thing after Longhorn has got to be Windows 8. Metro is so universal, it works on webpages, on your TV, on your computer, on mobile devices, I think it's pretty neat.
Since we're on this topic, i'll just throw this out here:
That was Microsoft's original idea for Longhorn <ahem> I mean Vista. If you guys have not watched that video before, prepare to get your mind blown!
