Google is going to shut down some more of it's services this month including iGoogle and Google Video. Here is the list of services which will be closed down:

  • Google Mini is a part of Google Enterprise Search offering, introduced first in 2005.
  • Google Talk Chatback allowed websites to embed a Google Talk widget so that they could engage with their visitors
  • Google Video stopped taking uploads in May 2009. Google will move all the Google Video content to YouTube as private videos that users can access in the YouTube video manager.
  • iGoogle web widgets will be retired on November 1, 2013. With modern apps that run on platforms like Chrome and Android, the need for iGoogle has eroded over time, so they will be winding it down.
  • Symbian Search App is useless now. There's a better mobile version of google.com.

If here is any iGoogle user they can chose their best iGoogle alternatives. Saw the website http://www.igooglealternatives.info/  and get the lot of information regarding best iGoogle alternatives.
