VLC, the open source cross-platform multimedia player that plays most multimedia files now available for Android! The beta version will work on Android 2.1 and above and according to the their release notes, "This version is ONLY for devices with a CPU ARMv7 that will support NEON."

Nice but I'll keep using MX Player till VLC is in beta phase.

I try to avoid Beta apps on my phone as much as possible. Though this is worth waiting for, assuming that it will be as powerful as the desktop version.

I am very disappointed. :(
It does not works with 720p
Stuck with MX player.

confirmed. doesn't play videos with resolution of 720p or higher. It force closes on me.
