Google also announced its latest take on the Apple TV, a weird, spherical $200 device called Nexus Q that Google describes as its first consumer-electronics product. It's the latest in a long line of living room set top boxes, but runs Android, not Google TV, and features social networking functionality.
The device features:
- OMAP 4460 chip (same as the Galaxy Nexus)
- Android OS
- 25W audio amplifier
- Optical digital audio output
- Dual-band Wi-Fi
- Ethernet
- NFC, Bluetooth
- Micro USB
