Since Windows Live is no more, Microsoft has decided to give logos pf it's all the web services a slight Metro style makeover. It's confirmed that SkyDrive logo will be changing, as shown in the below comparing the logos between what we saw before in leaked images and the new logos that will be coming soon:

Yuk... every new logo looks good, but this new sky drive one looks da shit!

Skydrive's wave 4 logo looks actually very good, even in Metro mode.

Wave 2 and Wave 4 is the best.

my issue with metro icons is how they appear to be like silhouettes of the icons rather then the icons themselves, but since skydrive is supposed to be part of the core experience of Windows 8, I don't mind.
