I doubt that it will happen. They wouldn't want the negative attention.

for the some 99% of users that don't install another OS on their PC's, this is a good thing.

Secure Boot can be turned off if the OEM has included such an option in the UEFI firmware. Microsoft is not blocking other OSes.
