Nvidia Geforce R302 drivers have been WHQL-certified by Microsoft specifically for Windows 8 Release Preview, as Windows 7 will stick with R300 drivers. The new branch includes support for all the new WDDM 1.2 features (including things like stereoscopic 3D optimizations and flicker-free screen rotation), and Nvidia says it will support Nvidia 3D Vision for 3D games right away.

Nvidia's R302 graphics drivers are set to be launched next week.

[Update] 6/11/2012: We apologize again for the delay of the WHQL-certified driver for the Windows 8 Release Preview. Please know that our software team is working around the clock. Thanks to your comments, we have decided to post a beta driver in advance of the WHQL-certified driver. Our developers are targeting beta driver release in the next 4-8 days. We’ll update you again on status of the driver, this Friday.
