The Store now offers a unique app catalog for customers in 26 markets, increasing the Consumer Preview number by 21. This number, too, will continue to grow as Microsoft continue to expand the service globally. Desktop apps listings are scheduled to show up inside the Windows Store for the first time today. You won't be able to download desktop apps directly from the Windows Store. Instead, the listing has a link to a third party download site.
