I installed Win 8 on a disk with a win 7 partition, a bootable DOS FAT32 partition and a data partition formatted FAT32.
The install went good. If there was a complaint about format at that time, i did not see it. The next time I booted Win 7 (on a separate disk), It ran chkdisk and "corrected" some errors. Then when I booted Win 8 again, it "corrected" some errors. This behavior is readily repeatable. If I boot the same system several times, the first boot following a previous use of the other win system will go through this fix, then the subsequent boots are OK.

I have had no problems after getting either system running. I am concerned that Win 8 may cause some errors that I have not seen yet.

Anyone have any information about this?
