AniExplorer

It allows you to enable hidden UI animations in Windows 7 and Windows 8. Choose the animation type and speed, then click "Apply". Click "Restore Defaults" to disable hidden animations.

There are four types of animation available...

Vertical Rectangle/Horizontal Rectangle/Position/Alpha

...and four types of animation's speed!

very slow, slow, fast and very fast

Download AniExplorer from Winaero :woot:

Indeed, you are right.
"Restore default" restores your file what was before you click "apply". It is safest way to roll back changes.
"Apply" perfoms duxml modification and file patch.

I want my content to appear instantly in explorer that's why I disable all the animation effects but your efforts are good. People will definitely like it. :)

Thanks. BTW, usually i disable animations too.
Anyway, there is two reasons for me to make AniExplorer:
1. to learn C#+XML
2. just for fun. That effects reminds me longhornera, i mean this (source)

Finally at PC, not in bed
So, AniExplorer 1.1
  • New type of animation is available: Both dimension rectangle.
  • Fixed typo in UI.
  • Some workarounds for users you was unable to restore non-animated Windows Explorer. I write the restore engine from scratch and I do hope what I have fixed the issue.
  • The issue with elevated start of Explorer was fixed too.
I have filmed AniExplorer 1.1 on Windows 8. You can see "Both dimension rectangle" in action:

Download link is the same (click)
