They Suspended my website just for Windows 8 Consumer Preview Auto Theme Patch!!!!

For the time being I would suggest you to remove the patch for getting your site back up. But it's really bad, it's just a patch to change the skins. Microsoft should have provided an option to change the visual styles in Windows at first place.

materials involving in the right infringement as indicated in the letter.

Frankly, I wish everything would go fine with a minimal loss rather than seeing you

getting sued by Microsoft.

Microsoft releases a bunch of wallpapers on it's Personalization Gallery and calls them themes. When someone releases a patch to use the REAL skins on Windows, Microsoft stops them!

Just use UXTheme. Not sure if it supports 8, but it's the best (and I think most trusted) patcher out there.

I could semi understand if this had something to do with it still being in beta and not wanting to much tampering going on yet, but it seems that's not the case. This is a little ridiculous if it sticks through to final. Windows 7 ftw!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Windows 8 is going to do wonders for Linux! When average people see how bad Mircosoft have messed this up they'll use anything else!

Microsoft playing copyright troll? Wow... Never saw that coming. But then again, they are banning non-IE web browsers on ARM for Windows 8, so I guess they must be getting desperate with this much skirting of anti-trust law.

As for the patch itself, host it on a third party site such as Dropbox or MegaUpload Mediafire Rapidshare... Yeah, just better use Dropbox, since they haven't been forced to make changes yet.

Also, contact the Electronics Frontier Foundation. Even if you have no intent to sue, they can still help a lot.
