YouTube Preview (filmstrip of thumbnails) is now available on the HTML5 version of YouTube too.

It's nice to see that YouTube's HTML5 player supports almost all the features of the Flash player and looks just like the Flash player. If you uninstall or disable the Flash player, YouTube automatically switches to the HTML5 player, assuming that you have a browser that supports the video tag. Obviously, you can still manually switch to the HTML5 player.

I've seen this in some videos but not others - but I'm not sure if I'm using the HTML 5 player or not.

I'll be waiting for the technology to be developed and improved and for more sites to adopt it before I switch over to HTML5. Flash is fucking shit anyway but I have to live with it for now.

I'm using HTML5 version of YouTube for the last week. No issues at all!

But I saw some issues on this. Sometimes a HTML5-powered vdo

stopped at the first couple of seconds. Sometimes it failed to buffer.

Anyway, it seems to suck less RAM than Flash did.

Right click on the video and see if you can read Adobe Flash Player somewhere in the dropdown menu, if not, then you are using HTML5. try http://www.youtube.com/html5 if you are not using it.
