Trend Micro launched DirectPass 1.0, an online password management tool for Windows, iOS and Android. The app is available for free but it asks you to sign up for a paid account when you save more than 5 passwords.

I think Trend Micro won't be able to survive as a computer security company with these type of apps when there are LastPass, my personal favorite and the most used online password manager, and KeePass, which stores password securely offline. Last month Norton also released a free password manager Identity Safe Beta. All of them are free unlike DirectPass.

Please post in the comment section which password manager do you guys use?

My Braincells.

Give a test to LastPass browser add-on for a day. You will be surprised to see how easy it makes the whole web browsing experience.

Um, no.

I don't need a silly addon to remember my alphanumeric passwords when I can already do that.

Plus, in the event I do something stupid like reinstall XP and click on every advert, download all the "ph433 st00f to make your PC fastar!" etc. I still can't lose my bank password. Revolutionary I say.

Internal Organic Memory Storage System (IOMSS)
AKA Brain cells.

I have over 8 different passwords, normally 8 - 18 chars, all alpha-numeric.

Yeah, i can be lazy and use a password manager, but i dont want to take the chance of some one else logging in to my PC while i am away and screwing with my shit.

Another +1 for the IOMSS/Brain! I memorized my 26 character wireless password on top of all my other 10+ character passwords.
